Should we try ads again, and what should be different this time?

UPDATED 2026-11-04 · AP3 TECHNOLOGIES

SHORT ANSWER

Try ads again only if you can state what a customer is worth to you, what you can afford to pay to win one, and who will answer the leads, and only if at least one thing is different from last time: the offer, the audience, the follow-up or how you measure.

Settle four things first

  1. What a customer is worth to you over the time you will serve them.
  2. What you can afford to pay to win one and still make money. Our free Acquisition & Ad Economics calculator shows the method.
  3. Who answers each lead, and how fast.
  4. A small, capped test with the stopping rule written down before you start.

What should be different this time

  • A clearer offer: who it is for and what they get.
  • A narrower audience of people who can actually buy.
  • A named owner for every inquiry.
  • Measurement by inquiries and sales, not likes or reach.

When not to try again yet

If last time the problem was follow-up, the offer or the price, new ads will repeat it at a higher cost. Fix that step first. This guide shows how to tell.

How AP3 handles it

We start with a scoping call and an economics check before any spend. We build the ads and assign one dedicated Ad manager to run them and report on what they produced. It is paid advertising only: we do not run social accounts or organic posting, and we do not close deals. We do not promise results.

Questions

How much should the test budget be?

It depends on what a customer is worth and how many results you need to learn anything. We set it with you in the scoping call. This page gives no figure because a fixed number would be a guess.

Which platform should we use?

The one where your buyers are. We choose with you and agree it in the scope.

Do you run my social media pages?

No. AP3 runs paid advertising only.
